But this time, it's a very up to date browser. In the last week or so, I've been regularly getting logged out of the forum, even after as little as 15 minutes of inactivity. I've checked the "automatically log me in each session" box; that seems to be what is not working. The thing that seems to have changed with this was my upgrading my browser to Safari 5. I don't think it's a general cookie problem, as other forums (using different software) that I frequent are fine.
This forum is fine for me in Firefox 3.6 and was fine in Safari 4. Are there good ways to try to diagnose this a bit further?

Re: Another browswer/forum issue
I had experienced a similar problem, it was happening on both Chromium as well as Firefox 3.6
Whenever I tried to post a comment, i would be asked to login again even though I was. Although I did not experience that problem again recently. However, I do sometimes find that the website is very unresponsive taking minutes to load, even now. I imagined this was something to do with my internet connection, but every other site works fine.
