Personal opinion...I think MSE as Zarel said is one of the best especially for free.

http://www.av-comparatives.org/comparativesreviews says that out of all the AVs they've tested, MSE caught the most viruses.

Do you have any data otherwise? I'd love to see it. "I use it" is not a good reason.
