Mac issue

I am currently running Max OS X 10.5.8

Memory: 2 GB

I do not get textures, it is all white. I have been playing the game and enjoying it but now im kinda getting tired of all the white, it also prevents me from playing water containing maps.

I heard from some threads that i needed to update something, but i need a solid answer, there are too many solutions to my one problem.

I have recently started playing online and its very fun, apart from the random freezes.

The problem
No textures in game

Attempted solutions
re-installed
used the "software update" in the top left

What do i need to do, if it costs money, then forget it i have none.

Have you tried what's on the Download page which says,

Note for OS X

You need X11 installed (should come by default since 10.5), which can be found on the install DVD .
If you have a Nvidia based Mac on 10.5.6-10.5.9, there is a bug that makes the game look wrong. To fix, upgrade to 10.6 or higher, or use these custom Nvidia drivers.

So try following those steps..

EDIT: Seems to me that the custom Nvidia drivers are free

I've no idea what you got and where you got it from.. But if you downloaded it from here then it's for a mac.

Are you sure that you can't open the rapidshare link? Coz it's working fine for me..

It worked! sorry my internet was getting screwy, but it is completely fine now, I downloaded the file installed and the game magically works!
