Reloading animations could be nice addition but if we want to make it more realistic then we find bigger problem, infinite ammo. But maybe it could be explained by projectiles being created by turret itself (buildings can by beamed by trucks so why not projectiles...) and then reloading would be superfluous...

Well there could be like compresed metal,gunpower,small rockets and a small machine that would produce rockets...
Then ROF should a for 25% smaller but there would be about 50 to 75% more ammo then in normal vtol mini pod launcher or something else and that would be also a great idea for vehicle..

not sure if this is what he meant, but VTOL ammo would need an explaination now, maybe the weight of the AGS (ammo generation system, lol) is too heavy to allow the VTOL to fly with it onboard? hahaha
It wouldt be too heavy. Its 2100 in WZ and in that time there is large compresion of many things!
Its all compresed and also when is about mg vtols then there will be like sheels that wouldt throw because they are expendable,but they can use it to refill the gunpowder and attach the bullet on the shell.
The ROF would be slower maybe for 10% but there will be more ammo...

These are the hipoly models we use for baking normal maps and detail, so, in a way, they are supported right now. The current lancer model is 108 tris and the mortar is 114 tris if I remember right.
