Re: Issues on Mac
Do you get an error message? How does it stop? Does it appear on the Dock?

No, it does not appear on the dock at all, no error message, nothing. It seems like it is not opening at all.

Re: Issues on Mac
did you extract it from the download or just copy the download into the applications folder?

If you open "Console.app" and search for 'wz2100' does anything come up?

No nothing comes up when I search wz2100 after double clicking the Warzone 2100 icon.dak180 wrote:If you open "Console.app" and search for 'wz2100' does anything come up?

Re: Issues on Mac
Try searching again (in "Console.app") for "warzone" and let us know if that turns up anything.deadheadtn wrote:No, nothing comes up when I search wz2100 after double clicking the Warzone 2100 icon.

Sorry, just got off work.
That search was able to turn up a crash log entitled Warzone.crash.log (it is long):

Re: Issues on Mac
This means that you do not have x11 installed which is required for the game to work; the best way to get it is from the 10.4 install dvd.deadheadtn wrote:Code: Select all

It will not let me install it on my computer, it says: You cannot install X11 on this volume. Newer Software already exists on your computer. I had tried to do this before but figured I was fine if I had newer software.

google says you need to uninstall it, then install it from the DVD.deadheadtn wrote:It will not let me install it on my computer, it says: You cannot install X11 on this volume.
