Nooby: 3 quick questions please.

I am becoming addicted to this game! it is good. Hat's off to the Dev's.

Q1. When I try to run the game fullscreen, the mouse pointer disapears, I can still select the menu items if I am lucky enough to place the invisible pointer over any item. Any thoughts? (Windows 7 pro on Alienware ML17) I have win 7 on my main PC and don't get this issue there: just on my laptop:(

Q2. Is there a keybord short cut to clear the status info with the blue background: some times it covers half the screen with "unit lost" messages and I wondered if I could turn it off or clear it with a key stroke?

Q3. Has anyone come accross map tactical views showing topology and Oil derricks? I thought this would be good to help me learn the maps and form better strategy... as a noob, I'm still getting my ass kicked... but learning fast: currently learning the tech tree.

A1: Check your resolution and version of the game. Im not exactly sure on the operating system part, i wouldnt think so.

A2: just hit the tilde key around the top left of the keyboard next to the numbers.

A3: Im not sure, but you could check around google i suppose. They might have them here, i dont know. Im new to the site, but not the game. lol

One workaround is to try toggling hardware cursors/colored cursors. Sometimes they work better on, sometimes better off.

Backtick key ` works well. Might have to press it more than once.

Erm, topology and oil derricks is the default view...
