Is there any way to make these tiles look good?
i.e. I want to join cliff to water without allowing units to pass between cliff and water, but i don't see any tiles allowing to do that.
That's flaME.

It looks good. And in trunk all transition tiles make no sense because diffrent areas are automaticly melded.

Re: Smooth cliff-to-water in desert.
For that one instance of tile usage you can make a new tile and add to the original set.
there are empty tiles spaces in the folder (no tile at all) you can edit one for your custom desires editworld will allow you to give it properties the same as cliff if you don't want units to pass by it.
Remember when making a tile you have to have the tile in every size folder for the map type scaling a 128 tile down is a simple way to make the rest.
