I've been busy grinding inspiration and ideas for an MMORTS style game, Sci-Fi themed...
Formatted like Evony, only where the "Suck" and "Ragequit your Wallet" are left behind.
I'm probably going to get back to trying at modelling for WZ now though...
I'ma still try and make units...
So I've not been around much...

I'm both busy, and slacking off at the same time, and I'm trying to do a ton of things at once :/

Re: So I've not been around much...
A Sci-Fi MMORTS, for starters;
Now the Interesting specs in mind:
Monthly Membership (Reasonably priced [5$ to 7.5$])
(REPLACES Micro Transactions COMPLETELY. (NO "MICRO"TRANSACTIONS)
Membership gives a -constant- boost to all things in a positive fashion upwards of 20%, depending on what the attribute is..
No Server Sharding.
All players will be present on a Server cloud that encompasses the entire community to be.
Where other MMORTS are overloaded on a server and open a new one; I'd just add more habitable area to allow new players to spawn into.
-- "But I gotta stay logged in around the clock? Ridiculous!"
When you log out of this MMORTS your Primary Infrastructure (A Space Station) cloaks and is indestructible.
You must be logged in to defend yourself to be attacked.
(This doesn't count for infrastructure on the ground [captured planets and units deployed to ground warfare.].)
No "Generals" to lead troops, just "Troops";
On that note; an army isn't "X Troop times a million."
Army = Several Individual Spacecraft, Battlemechs, etc.
No Static Battles... Units are commanded directly, movement, attacks, etc.
Construction times, Troop Movement speed, etc;
Would be much faster paced than other games in the genre.
Fast-Paced action, (e.g. Your troops don't take real world days to reach a far away target.)
And so much more.

Re: So I've not been around much...
ok well i thought it would be in the warzone universe
woulda been interesting to see lol, but i like the idea, im guessing your main ideas were from freelancer (noticed you playing it and i love that game) sounds like a plan, but would need a small team to develop and i don't think you'll find that many people have the time ^_^
