Warzone PSX

Post by XboxJosh »

:D Just received the game after buying it on Ebay for $5.50. To my disappointment, I can't find skirmish. :( Is it not on the PSX version, or do I need a memory card (don't have one for PSX yet, playing WZ on my PS2)? :hmm:

Also, I noticed that the game runs pretty slowly. Structures take a while after I get there to appear. Is this normal, or is it a side-effect of emulating in on the PS2 or something?

Sorry for my questions, you'll probably find them stupid. My first encounter with WZ was one of the 2.1 betas (or alphas, I can't remember, were there any? XD ), so the PSX version is completely new to me.

(And P.S., I find the camera system a PAIN to use...)

XboxJosh:

To your first question, Skirmish is NOT located on the PlayStation version, nor the Multiplayer. I guess they had to take that out.

For your second question, yes, it is most likely a problem of emulation, as I owned and played Warzone 2100 on my old PSX and never had a problem.

Third: Driving is SO much easier on the PSX version XD
Bring back...ducks!

Agreed, Driving is one feature I can get into XD I just find using the camera system a bit... clumsy.
