install a selfmade map
Hi all,
first i will say sorry for my bad english and wrong spelling ^^
Some time ago a friend told me about wz2100 and i became a fan of it!
So i decided to make a map for wz which originally was made for supreamcommander 2.
I looked arround the forum and i found FlaME and some how to.
I finaly made the map and it realy looked gread in flaME. It allso compiled without anny problems and i pasted the map in the \Warzone 2100 2.3\maps folder.
But ingame i am not able to find the map...
BUT the first version of my map did well and started, but realy was unplayable at 250*250.
can someone help me find out why i cant select my new map?
help would be realy nice.

Upload the map so someone can try loading it and help find the issue.

It is better just to use the upload provided. Below new post section there is an upload attachment tab go there and upload it.

Re: install a selfmade map
Worked for me:
Maybe retry and remove all other maps so you can see it easily. If not I would reinstall warzone and make sure you delete the folder in your documents if the installer doesn't remove it.

2.3 beta or 2.3.0 release?Aratonizma wrote:i use 2.3
You have to rename everything accordingly to a different map name. If you still can't do this upload second instance of map with different name and I'll help you.Aratonizma wrote:now it worked for me too, but i only can have one selfmade map at the same time, is this normal?

Re: install a selfmade map
ok, this is now the first "working" map
i use the 2.3 released version, not the beta.
i can only see one selfmade map at one time, so i need to delet the old one if i have a new one, even if the names are differend.
by the way i have problems with pathfinding and the units go off the cliffs ( on higmap i have a hard cut bitween black and white without any types of gray )
may u also test it for me? would be nice ^^

I have 3 copies of your map (one that I changed names myself) and all 3 will display in the the map menu.Aratonizma wrote:i can only see one selfmade map at one time, so i need to delet the old one if i have a new one, even if the names are differend.
I'm not good at making maps. I can test, but don't have time today. Perhaps someone else can.Aratonizma wrote:by the way i have problems with pathfinding and the units go off the cliffs ( on higmap i have a hard cut bitween black and white without any types of gray )
