does the wide spectrum sensor turret have CB functionality?

the guide claims this for the wide spectrum sensor turret:

Sensor, VTOL, CB, VTOL CB

However, when enemy artillery is attacking my units that are in the sensor range of my wide spectrum sensor turret mounted units, they don't launch and counterattack even though the enemy artillery is in the shooting range of my artillery. If I use a CB radar turret mounted unit instead, it works. Did I misunderstand something or is there a bug in the guide or in the game?

That CB ability has been removed because it allowed WSS to have unlimited range in some cases...
