It is likely a firewall if you don't have a router.

I assume you can join a game but not host. After you get the Connection timed out error, click the back arrow and then click host again without leaving Warzone. Try this 2 or 3 times. If you are able to connect by doing this then something on your computer is slowing down your connection to the point were it times out.

Listen, I had that problem with all ESET products.
Just disable the protection, it should work.

Anyway, I'd recommend you use some better AV. NOD32 and Internet Security, both from ESET just gave me tons of conectivity problems and big computer slow down.

Also, forget adding warzone to ESET's exception list... It doesn't work (I tried on both)

Best AV out there. And it's free, too.

Can you describe specifically how your computer is connected to the internet, from your computer to the wall? Like, the ethernet port is connected to an ethernet cable connected to a modem connected to a cable line connected to a cable wall-socket?

Excuse me, but it isn't free:
*Your PC must run genuine Windows to install Microsoft Security Essentials.
You are often victim of piracy without knowing, and routines of removing WGA are complicated.

So I would better recommend AVG, that has made a giant step in speed lately, or Avira.

Okay, lemme rephrase; it's legal as long as you have a legit version of Windows. I'm speaking from a US viewpoint, where you are practically never an unknowing victim of software copyright infringement.

I bet there should be a router... or a swicher/hub... There is one... Tell us there is one.

@kuky

I'm using AVG at the moment, I got really annoyed of avira, since it just spams windows saying "get full version" like each 2~3 hours.

AVG is generally good, but slows down the old computers... :/

Also describe the wall it's connected to? Is it an apartment complex wall? A dormitory wall? A house wall?

I am living in a normal house in the city. My cable is going straight from the wall to my PC.
No modem. No router. No switch.
