Thank youZarel wrote:Wow, that looks great!
I'm still trying to figure out how I can set up the lights properly (the combustion effect itself doesn't produce light, I have to set up the lights separately), probably I'll try to use a combination of Omnidirectional light + Spotlight to see if I can make the ground lighting have the right shape (not just round).

Re: Scenes by Olrox
The first scene + the Warzone logo imposed on top of it makes a great wallpaper.
Bring back...ducks!

Olrox, do you got a higher res version of this?Olrox wrote:Hmm, I've rendered some firing effects today - I've learned doing that today, actually, so please take it easy on me![]()
But here it is - A HPV Cannon Viper Tracks using models made for AR (those are not final versions yet), with simple normal bump and specular maps.
Since we're probably going to remake the effects as well, I'm starting to practice that right now to be able to make some good things later on![]()
I've also dared to try to set-up a fake environment. I'm not completely satisfied with it yet![]()
Hope you like it. Image is licensed under CC-0 - anyone can use it for or do whatever they want with it~Olrox

I can provide you with probably any resolution - which one would you want? I can also make any other necessary changes. The scene is all set-up, rendering it takes only a few minutesZarel wrote:Olrox, I might use this for the new website design.

To be a bit more specific: It's a 4:3 image scaled to 1024x1024 (the game will stretch it to 4:3 again).Buginator wrote:1024x1024 would be nice.

.
The units are fantastic.
(Btw, at what stage are you at with the muzzle flash GFX ?)
As for the landscape backdrop - magical, mystic, painterly, chiaroscuro evocative.... I likes images that stir the imagination this way.
(Hopefully I can capture some stuff along the lines of dawn & dusk on the Tahoe trip for the Sky boxes end of that assignment.) Be nice if you could select Sky Boxes the way you select other stuff, like scavs - but again that is probably something that will have to await BetaWidget/LUA.
