Replay Mode?

I'm surprised that this isn't a hot topic in the Warzone community. But as far as I know, there's no way to internally record skirmishes. Maybe that could be added as a feature. I can see several uses for a replay mode:

1: Skirmishes with brilliant players could be recorded and uploaded to help those who aren't quite so skilled learn a few things from the champs, improving their gameplay.

2: Players would get to show off their skills, funny moments, strategies, and tactics.

3: Developers could find this feature very useful for bug squashing. Same goes for bug reports from the other members (this should help with bugs that don't show up in stderr.txt, including the truck building range bug).

4: Replay files could be transferred from computer to computer to be studied.

5: AI testers could benefit from being able to show things about AI's, rather than trying to describe them.

6: Campaign walkthroughs and the like would be much easier (and would save a lot of time and hard-drive space).

7: Small file sizes (as I've noticed on other games with replay modes) will make transferring replays easier, rather than trying to record Warzone games with an external program.

8: Mod-makers could find this feature useful for showing previews of their work (that would have been handy for whippersnapper; showing the other members how his idea worked).

9: The replay mode could make a nice addition to the spectator mode (once the spectator mode is implemented), particularly with AI testing.

Sadly, I lack the programming skills to attempt such a feature, but maybe this feature, if implemented, could become very useful in the future.

While on this topic, does anyone know a good video capture program that would allow me to record the game on windows 7 (64 bit) in full-screen mode. Would like to make some tutorials and just show some people how I play. I have tried a couple most don't work with this type of game and just show a black screen with your mouse floating around. I found a couple but one I couldn't engage in full-screen and one cropped a bit of the game so couldn't see chats in game which is a pain. (must be free) Help me help the noobs!

We've already discussed this idea before read through this thread. I believe that WZ itself can just save the sync data and essentially replay it later.

Most windows video capture programs hook into direct x, meaning opengl games will....not work. Camstudio usually works for screen casting though, play warzone in windowed mode?

(PS, you can try fraps, it's dodgy at best though and costs $$$, not worth it)
