Map Editing/Modding help
So basically, I've been looking around and there really aren't any useful tools for mac users. Is it possible that I'm overlooking something? The new map editor looks absolutely amazing, but again, that's not the fresh candy we can eat. We're stuck here improvising with wall candy.

Heard of Wine? Or virtualization? Or dual booting? I think there's a GTK map editor in development, too; try searching for that?
Other than that, all our other tools are cross-platform.

I don't think they have any mac people, since they are asking for people with macs for help.

Stupid question, but how long does it take for you to convert it? If it takes a long time, then I wonder if the devs would give you svn access so you can put your work online, and others can help convert it?macuser wrote:So you are looking for mapping/modding tools for mac... I'm not sure if that would be necessary... it would be simple enough to create your own SVN repository...Crymson wrote:Stupid question, but how long does it take for you to convert it? Re: Map Editing/Modding help
I have my own website (still under construction and not always up). If I did get an svn repository I could host it myself. http://68.102.74.51:81. However me thinks I could get it done before summer

Re: Map Editing/Modding help
I was referring to SVN hosts like Google Code or Sourceforge, but I suppose that works, too.
