Development help/tips

Post by skype272 »

Hello Warzone 2100 Project! i am a programmer and a script writer and i was thinking how to help this game and when i played i noticed a couple things one- When go into warzone view ( by clicking on a unit then presing space bar) the camera views messed up and i have an idea to fix it buy using a OTS view (over the shoulder) and more smothly moving. two the game could use a couple Map sharpening and props example- rocks on desert maps that tanks can sometimes drive over other times not and mabey some burnt down trees and simply more objects in a map. three OBJECT fail Example a cyborg is much bigger than a scavvy soldier and as big as a Building i was thinking make the scavenger building and troops a bit bigger so the cyborg doesnt look like a Giant. four building could be fixed to be made better looking EASY example the resercher module sides look Rigid and not smooth as do many building HQ dish can be made a bit more realistic when it turn and the cyborg has a FLAT 2D ARM?! all of these are simpilly fixed and i am willing to work along side with you people. five- how about insted of a blue oil point you have a destroyed crashed down oil pump with that blue dot on top of it too.

Thank you for reading -Skype272

Hello. Though this sentence is missing a comma, it is otherwise the most grammatically correct of all your sentences. Your other sentences should learn from this one. :P

"Messed up" and "more smoothly moving" is kind of vague. It's like saying "the game should be made better". Yes, we know; the question is "how?"

Wikipedia has never heard of "OTS" or "over the shoulder": http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?tit ... lder&go=Go

So you'll have to be more specific about what you mean by that.

Sure, that would be nice. Can you make some for us?

Yeah, the cyborgs could use more detail. Go ahead and make those, too.

Nah. Broken oil rigs don't exactly evolve in nature; a natural oil resource isn't going to just come with an oil rig.

Hey, me too :P

Just joking  (but I do like when people write carefully with spaces between paragraphs and capital letters and good punctuation... that's very nice for those guys who read a lot of posts everyday like myself)

Privet, rooski dudes. English, like Russian can be quite casual about word order in a sentence, but unlike some language we don't have all those suffixes to tell what is what. So it helps to know where one sentence ends and another one starts. This means using periods or at least the Enter key at the end of a sentence.

And stop apologizing. You are not doing that badly.
