You know, at this point, I would recommend that you just sign up with a normal account.

No prob, thanks actually. I didn't know about this...
:mad; ...
site...
Damn, I also didn't know how lazy people could be. I mean, hell, it takes 1 minute to fill the registering form. I don't think we can use anything from someone who doesn't have 1 minute to spare, the proposition itself sounds silly, given the facts.

I was wondering why Zarel suggested that you signed up in with a "normal account", because I didn't know about that silly "Bug Me Not" site thing...macuser wrote:what i meant was that my new id when i signed up would be macuser and brb = be right back

Well, actually, it takes more than 1 minute, if you count messing with the e-mail approval, which can take a while (and sometimes outright doesn't work) if your spam filters are weird.Olrox wrote:Damn, I also didn't know how lazy people could be. Either way, I don't mind - sometimes, people don't know if they're going to stick around, and they don't want to clutter up the user database with yet another account that will only be used once or twice.

Re: models by MaNGusT
Ok, sorry about my previous post (whoever was quick enough should know why), parting from a more calm and neutral state of spirit, willing that the previous post by "bugmenot" was made by Macuser - a normal member.
I wouldn't create anything for warzone and not dedicate it for any other entity than the Warzone 2100 Project. The staff has helped me already countless times and is putting a truly awesome effort on continuing the development of the game: I, for myself, feel bound to help achieving any of their goals in any way I can, and creating a separate site, with a separate community, seems like the opposite, for me.
I thank you for your offer, but this is definetely our home, and we won't leave unless we are requested to by the administrators of the site.

We currently don't even have enough stuff to make a separate website for, and what we are doing here is of the best interest from the community - developing anything for Warzone here might bring much more feedback than doing so anywhere else, as the community is already gathered here, and we can easily get technical information and excellent help from the dev-team, which is really a good thing.bugmenot wrote:hey MaNGusT you guys should think about opening a web page for AR. if you want i could design it for you?

P.S. I really like the models - keep it up.

Well, if you can show us what you can do, maybe. But you must want to do something and you must be good at it.macuser wrote:thank you for considering... but is there any other way i can help? perhaps coding or artwork?
Currently we aren't into any coding, in the Art Revolution. So if you want to help with AR, I must know what kind of artistry you're good at, then I can think about something we need done
Welcome to the forums, BTW. Sorry about my overreaction, I'm on a bad mood these last days

I work a lot with GIMP (GNU image manipulation program) and have done modeling with Maya (made by the same people as 3dsmax) here is an example of a GIMP image I made using layers. Perhaps I could help model or texture.
