Save game issue

Post by eridor0 »

Alright, my autosave and my campaign save both refuse to be opened. If I try, it loads for a little while, freezes, then it exits the game and goes to the desktop. But if I load an earlier campaign save, it will load fine. Could those files be corrupted?

Likely. Zip up all save files and upload somewhere?

I've started from the other save file, it's not that far behind so I'm working my way back.

That's cool. Zip up all save files and upload somewhere?

...we're not going to be able to fix the problem unless you do that.

Which OS are you using? If it's Windows, the savegames should be in My Documents - look for a folder whose name begins with "Warzone 2100".

I'm using Windows, I found the WZ files in My Documents. The part I'm not sure how to do is zip them and upload them.

- Right-click on the folder called "Savegames"

- Go to "Send to"

- Go to "Compressed (Zipped) folder"

- A new ZIP file called "Savegames" should eventually appear.

- Upload it.

- Tell us the name of the campaign save you can't open.

Oops, didn't work for some reason. I've got a zipped copy, can I just send it via email?

And the "Autosave" and "Campaign" ones refuse to be opened.
