Some days ago, after restarting my PC, WarZone suddenly took much longer to load than before, and looking at the map preview (for Multiplayer/Singleplayer Skirmish) took even longer. But thats not the only problem: For me it takes forever to start a game. >.< When all are ready, the loading bar appears, with the fast black lines, then it disappears, but the game doesn´t start yet. I can already move my cursor, but I´m still on the loading screen. After a minute or so the loading bar appears again, but now with white, not moving lines, which slowly accelerate and get darker, and after about 2 minutes i can finally get into the game. It can´t be a hardware problem, because all my drivers are up to date and I didnt change any settings on my PC when the problem first appeared. The problem started with the Beta 9, and continued with Beta 10, and stable has the same problem. I also didnt change anything ingame, so I don´t really know what to do. It´s not grave, but it´s very annoying for the guys I´m playing with and for myself

Slooooow Game
I´ve not found any solution to my problem yet, so I´ll just post it here:

Well, I did some things before that happened, like closed UDP Port 2100 because it´s not necessary, but I opened it again, and nothing changed
(The game itself runs smooth). Please help, I don´t want everyone to quit my games because it takes forever to play :mad;

Re: Slooooow Game
You probably installed a Windows update for your graphics card. Windows Updates generally include drivers that don't support hardware-accelerated OpenGL, which Warzone uses.
Simply install the latest version of your video card's drivers from your video card manufacturer's website, and you should be good to go.

Re: Slooooow Game
Driver manually updated and installed, didnt help a bit
Maybe it was because I installed the Vista SP 1 & 2?
(But I won´t uninstall them, they really helped to get rid of the nasty bluescreens)

If it is taking a really long time to load, but the menus are fast, then it looks like your HD is having issues, or maybe spyware/malware.
Check your event viewer for errors/warnings.
Run a virus scan.

Re: Slooooow Game
In the event viewer, it will show a yellow "!" and red "X" for problems. If you double click on a entry with the red "X", it will tell you what the problem is.WarMole wrote:I don´t really know how to handle a HD problem, so instructions please![]()

No errors/warnings occured while starting WarZone,
but when I started my PC.
Oh, here´s something more detailed:

but when I started my PC.
I didn´t find a solution to this problem in the Internet, can anyone help me?The performance of the processor 0 is restricted by the system firmware. The processor is since 16 seconds after the last report in this reduced performance state.

Re: Slooooow Game
Just a guess, but laptops often have a setting to throttle the CPU in order to prolong battery life. The performance of the processor 0 is restricted by the system firmware.

Re: Slooooow Game
I looked it up on the internet where it says my drivers aren´t up to date....
But I didn´t change anything the last days and it worked perfect before.
Only happens in multiplayer after playing about 30 minutes
