newb build 2.3b10 to Mint

i download source from sourceforge

i follow this intruction: http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/LinuxCompileGuide
but just "building of warzone 2100"

after that i start game. after quit menu didnt work (open) and resolution was lower than normal.

should i do that install part too?

i use gnome Mint8 (based ubuntu 9.10)

you can run in like ./src/warzone2100 if you are in the main directory.
Just make sure you have good video drivers, and the latest version of openALsoft.
