Just thought I'd chime in to mention that in my playings of beta 10, using N trucks seems to reliably build N times faster than 1 truck, as long as you've got the power to pour into it. If you're building while broke, it will of course not matter, you'll be limited by power availability, not truck ability. Which is how it's always been.
Is there a betting pool anywhere on how much longer the staff will put up with this? I might want to get in on that. Zarel, I commend your rational and comprehensive replies, but I'm not sure they're worth the effort.

I can see slowdowns on building with N trucks, but I think its due to them all trying to jostle into position around it. (Not a problem for factories, say, but smaller structures crowding can be an issue). Usually 2-3 trucks is enough to get something built in a hurry. It's usually close enough to N times faster to be worthwhile.

Well, we can think about 15 people trying to catch a little ball at the same time. Makes sense for me.kringled wrote:I can see slowdowns on building with N trucks, but I think its due to them all trying to jostle into position around it.
