Re: wyvern has stealth
I also think now that Dragon is multi turret, Wyverne should be special somehow.nizzel wrote:sins the dragon has dual turrets the wyvern should have stealth so it cannot be detected bij radar
But not by being stealth.
I was thinking about something like very high engine output...

Re: wyvern has stealth
Hrm, it does say "medium super heavy body".
I think I'll change it to simply "heavy body".

I would like to see stealth units, though. Maybe specialized Stealth bodies? Lowered detection range vs. them, not invisibility, though.

Re: wyvern has stealth
I tried that thing with super engine;
It has 90000 engine, but it is displayed as 3928(?).
It can carry Plasma Cannon without losing speed.
If joined with some HP and armour changes it could be balanced and in game.

Re: wyvern has stealth
I liked when Vengeance was the best body....
You want a strong slow body? Tracked Tiger...
Want something faster, trading hitpoints for speed? half tracked Mantis...
No compromises, spare no expense: Vengeance.
But its not as strong as a Dragon you say?
Who cares, thats just adding another needless layer.
We have the heavy cannon.... well, lets add a "SuperHeavyCannon", then a "twin super heavy cannon", or an "Ultra Super heavy cannon"... etc
I don't think adding progressively stronger, slower bodies adds anything, anymore than stronger heavier cannons would add anything.
If we are to have bodies which can top the Vengeance in a catagory, it should be something unique.
I like the multi-turret idea, and I'd support making the definition of "super heavy body" to be a body that mounts two turrets.
In which case I'd even consider going for a 3rd super heavy body!
One twin turret body with a good engine so it can move relatively unencumbered by the 2nd turret, and another twin turret body that is heavier/has less engine output, but has more armor and hitpoints.
Then a 3rd, "nexus-ish" super heavy body: 2 turrets, the speed of the one super heavy body, with the strength of the other - but way more expensive.
How would stealth work?
Sensors don't pick it up until they get within normal "visual" range? artillery can't fire at it using a sensor to designate?

Why not enable dual turrets on Wyvern as well. Dragon has more hit points. That's it, all it needs.

Re: wyvern has stealth
The whole point of putting dual turrets on the dragon is because it is agonizingly slow. Seriously, try any Dragon-any propulsion-any weapon, and it will be incredibly slow. Wyvern is the body with the best weight support for extremely heavy weapons such as artillery.
