I don't know how to make it work in any format other than just a plain folder (no zip, wz, 7z, etc.)
Could someone help me with a step-by-step procedure? (please number the steps). I really don't want to mess this one up.
I've made a mod for Weapons.txt but...

1: open the folder you have the mod in
2:Select every thing
3:(7zip) Right click on the folders selected and select add to archive
4:create a new zip file, preaty much an options are ok as long as its a zip
5:rename the file from .zip to .wz
Then you can use the file like any other mod, if it don't work then try to make your zip fom the folders up or down in the directory stucture and/or use diferent compression options.

In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.

Arreon, do you have an IM client? I might be able to help you through IM. Alternatively, join the IRC channel and say my name.
