#1350[patch] Units with long reload time shouldn't all hit the same target

I've been waiting for this one since before 1.10.

When do you think we will see a backport to a 2.x beta?

There are quite a few developers who don't want this backported to 2.3, mainly because it could have bugs, and the reason 2.3 hasn't been released yet is because we keep on adding new (buggy) features to it... /shrug/ Personally, I'd be fine with seeing it in 2.3, but many other developers disagree.

Just divide in groups, each group for a target, set the "hold fire" option for designating all targets yourself.
I think the way they fire is ok, and makes you think how to make your units dispersing their fire, isn't too hard, trust me.

Kinda hard to do that on two or more fronts...

Maybe sometime after the 2.3.0 release in the next beta set? Do new features get added in version increments like 2.3.1?

Well, they shouldn't...
In that case that means now is the time to add it (if no features are added for less than a minor version increment).
