Reason: Corrected title; old title called it "laser command uplink"

Using 2.3 beta 7: Go to the limits screen, and disable the LasSat.

oh please - the latest version is stable - not all bugs have been seen yet - but if i can have 5 hour plus games with no problems... dunno how much more stable yoour looking for.... skirmish with ai is all i do due to testing maps - which by the way i will have 2 new wip's shortly. keep testing the the releases as they come out - is the only way to get to the STABLE versions.

No matter how many bugs are left(Or if there are no bugs!) it is beta, and is considered unstable.

Version numbers mean little - they're marketing numbers, anyway.
2.3 beta 7 is stable enough for general use.

What's the implication here? I don't think "obviously" means what you think it means.Per wrote:They obviously mean little to some people.

Id like to hear devs opinion on 1vs 7skirmish.When they get lasat i got no defense against that, sure i can turn it off and all but thats no fun.where is the balance in getting hit by 7 lasats at once? how about allowing only 1 lasat per team in skirmish only?

Re: Removing the Laser Satellite
You expect 1 vs. 7 to be balanced? How is being hit by 7 lasat more unbalanced than being attacked by 7 groups of VTOLs or being rushed by 7 groups of flamer cyborgs?Tenoh wrote:Id like to hear devs opinion on 1vs 7skirmish.When they get lasat i got no defense against that, sure i can turn it off and all but thats no fun.where is the balance in getting hit by 7 lasats at once?

Re: Removing the Laser Satellite
1. 1v7 skirmish is supposed to be balanced to make it really hard against you.Tenoh wrote:Id like to hear devs opinion on 1vs 7skirmish.When they get lasat i got no defense against that, sure i can turn it off and all but thats no fun.where is the balance in getting hit by 7 lasats at once? how about allowing only 1 lasat per team in skirmish only?
2. If you don't win before the AI gets LasSat, you're doing it wrong.
