A lot of questions.

Post by Ceiling Cat »

I haven't seen the FAQ or help cover any of these... I want to make a TC mod, and need some serious info on dev tools.

First, the map editor. It works for me, but doesn't do anything besides forming blue terrain. I get no texture functionality, and brush options crash me. PCX load fails.

Next is the model format(was it PIE?) - would be nice to know some details on animation type and format limitations.

Last but not least - graphical limitations. Is the engine flexible enough to add eventual support for other effects and formats, or I'd better just port it to a remote engine?

First, total conversion mods are very limited here, because lot of stuff isn't in *.wz-s.

Do you have latest patch for it?

I think it isn't.

Thanks for all of these, I'll try to edit as much as I can, even though I already see it's going to be much of a pain.

edit: I'll change my general question... what I CAN edit? >_>

Also, worldedit keeps doing the same crap.
