first of all, the system I am running is as follows:
OS: MS Windows XP Home SP3
CPU: Intel Pentium D945; Presler 65nm Architecture
RAM: 1.0GB Hyundai Electronixs DDR2
Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0GX297 (Microprocessor)
Graphics: 256MB intel Q965/Q963 Express Chipset Family (I think I may have 2 of these chipsets)
HDD: 80GB Western Digital WDC WD800JD-75MSA3
AUDIO: SoundMax Intergrated Digital HD Audio Driver
Though I realise this machines isn't exactly going to win A Gamers Choice award, it has proven itself capable of playing some of the more demanding games such as Rome: TW and C&C: Generals, so I know it can handle some kind of graphics with the chipset.
Anyway, the problem I have as the subject details is seconds after clicking the Warzone 2100 .EXE file to start the game after successful installation, the monitor sets itself to what seems to be 640x480, changes the cursor black then I get a system beep warning and the computer freezes, the only way to unfreeze is to reboot. I'm hoping there is a simple solution to this, as finding this game has really made my day. It's a one of a kind game that amazes me, I love RTS but this really set a bar when it was released, and it would be great to have it with me where ever I go.
Ok that's enough talking for me, thanks for reading and I hope you can help me!
Si.
