maps & mods

Post by twinkie »

ok, i've looked amongst all the information here, and
still not sure on a few things...

maps: how to load or use them, and, are they like mods? you can load them
up via the command line?

A.I.: rules slo/vo - for example, the TURTLE ai that ive seeing around
where does that get put in? how?

and its still very confusing trying to figure out where everything
gets places and how.

i've seen programs to help/assist in making changes to the
game and ai and units, the wzsk i think it was. comments?

:)

Ok, I looked at the help files in regards to loading up the maps and so forth.
I use the basic warzone 2100, and put the file into the maps folder, load
up a new game, and dont see a new map being loaded.

I make a folder, call it autoload, and put it in there, still no go.

Ok, not sure if I have to make a .bat to load it special.
So far, no matter what I do, it doesnt load the special map.

Ive got the 4c-river_canyon map in the maps folder
latest released normal version of wz2100, and still
cant get this to work.

Suggestions?

first off - what are you running - windows / linux / mac ??

what machine hardware?

when asking questions for the first time - it is generally a wise idea to include as much info as possible, that way we dont have to second guess anything?

xD and welcome to the forums.
