Hello there. I just downloaded version 2.2.4 and have been having trouble playing the in-game videos and cutscenes. First, I downloaded the game without the videos and then downloaded the low-quality videos separately, putting them in the correct folder that was specified on the download page. The game itself worked fine, but none of the cutscenes played. Then, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, selecting the automatic download of high-quality videos. When I ran the game this time, the cutscenes would play, but would freeze about two or three seconds in.
I'm running Windows XP with a GeForce 6800 graphics card and I'm wondering if anyone knows what's causing this problem. Thank you in advance.

Hi there MightyFireball
ok this is a lazy cut and paste from the last thread i responded to, but it applies to you too
Welcome to the community!
The devs on this game are overworked and underpaid, lol
Could you please check if you can repeat the crash and if so, could you run the game using the debug all command and posting the logs here.
sounds like a very specific bug and they may ask you to make a ticket for it, but this gets things rolling.
I appologise for the work, this is sort of a self help deal as much as we can manage to save the devs more work than they already have =)

Re: Issue with cut-scenes and in-game videos
Please download the latest version of the drivers for your graphics card.
As for being unable to get the downloaded videos to work, are you sure you remembered to rename them before putting them in the correct folder?
If the latest drivers don't fix your crash, a crash report would be very much appreciated (assuming Windows, that'd be the "Program Files/Warzone 2100/warzone2100.RPT" file).

Well, I downloaded the latest drivers and I'm still getting the same problem. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do I activate debug mode and get the crash report?

Simply upload the "Program Files/Warzone 2100/warzone2100.RPT" file as an attachment in your next post. (Or tell me which operating system you are using, if not Windows.)

I didn't find the .rpt file in the Warzone 2100 folder. Just to clarify, the game doesn't actually crash to the desktop; it freezes and I'm forced to end the program via ctl+alt+delete. And I am in fact running Windows.

Oh, I can't help with freezes. I don't think Buggy's Warzone builds are compatible with GDB for Windows. I guess the only way is to try a different version of Theora? I'd ask Buggy first.
