How to set alliance hotkey on a laptop?

Post by Gamerchi »

Right, so I downloaded the basic warzone2100 (48mb) v 2.2.4 and I cannot find a way to set the alliance hotkey or what it's hotkey is in the first place. I'm using a laptop also. I would like something I can understand because...well...I'm a very special boy. Also: Could not find it in keymappings, there is nothing that says "Alliance"

It is usually Enter on Num keyboard, but(most)laptops don't have them.
It isn't called alliances,it is called "Multiplayer options".

I should point out that Numpad-Enter is Fn+Enter on most laptops... That's usually far easier than remapping a key.

Well I have a dell insperion 1545 which only has the fn keys f1-f12, which is also a pain. I'd also like to ask is there an easier way to enable cheats? I have no idea where to find said Terminal.app or warzone2100->config, Im running windows vista ultimate 32 bit >.< God am I ever special.

...um, it only mentions Terminal.app in the Mac instructions. Look at the Windows instructions, and it will be obvious...

To enable cheats you just have to add parameter "--cheat" to shortcut to game.
(f.e. "C://Program Files/Warzone2100/WZ2100.exe" --cheat)
Then in-game Shift+Backspace to enter debug mode.
Then use any cheats.(For Windows.)

There are very much games that require much more time to enable cheats...
