the sensor just gives you a nice field of view, the CB does what it suggests in the description; it detects enemy artillery flying through the air and then tells friendly artillery "hey, something nasty is over there -- smoke it!"

Re: How to use CB Turret?
I had this question sometime ago, and here is the answer
Say you have a base, and you have surrounded your base with walls.
Say you have an enemy that has long range arty somewhere on the map... very very far away from your base, (ripple rocket, archangel missiles, Howitzers or even the not that long range mortars.)
you have your own arty but the only thing you see about the enemy is the incoming artillery fire and you cannot see the artillery units that are shooting you.
If you put a cb tower, and the enemy shoots their arty inside the visual range of the cb tower, it will show you who is shooting, and where are the rounds coming from. And will also automatically tell your arty units to shoot at what ever is shooting you.
hope this helps.

But, if a CB Radar Turret Tank with a group of bombard tank, they didn't fire .
Why?
And it can't lead the group to fire as Sensor Radar Tank can do.

and you have to assign the tanks to the radar not just group them.

Re: How to use CB Turret?
mobile cb has to be able to see the source of the incoming fire directly meaning it has to get much closer.
fixed cb does not have this issue.

yes, i've assign the tanks to the radar tank.winsrp wrote:and you have to assign the tanks to the radar not just group them.
but sensor radar tank can lead to fire, cb turret tank can't do it.
it's why i don't understand what's the use of cb turret.

Re: How to use CB Turret?
Right now, I think it's useless. Kind of like VTOL strike turret, and VTOL CB turret.
I'm working on making them behave more like their respective towers. Until then, just don't use them.
