Freezes up after about 10 min.

Hi -

I'm playing version 2.2.4 on a my mac - 1 GHz PowerPC G4 with 1 GB SDRAM and running 10.4.11. When I play in single player mode (campaign or skirmish) after about 10 min. it locks up and freezes.

Any idea what the problem could be? Thank You.

Run it from terminal /console and see if it spits out error messages.

From reading viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3803&start=45 this looks like a ppc mac issue only or 10.4.11 problem.
Can you try what devs request there toward the end since the other guy is very hard to understand IMO.

Try turning off music.

I turned the music off and it lasted about 5 times longer before freezing up. This time it froze up after about 50 min.

Turn off all sound?

Try running the Activity Monitor, and check your RAM utilization.
