AA question

are there any units other than dedicated AA and mini gun units that can attack air craft ?

the standard cyborg using lancers and / or / scourge.

vtols (any body config) can use either lancer or scourge to bring down other vtols. use your as patrol craft. xD

I was actually wandering about vehicals/gun turrets rather then cyborgs I very rarely use cyborgs as there way to weak to be of any meaningful help as for vtols I already though about that but most of the time I cant hit the opponents vtols there to quick and the shot often misses even when I use something like mini rockets/lancer missiles which home in on targets

you know how to make them patrol an area??? use that feature and they automatically aim and fire at approaching enemy unit vtols as well as ground units. and do not discount cyborgs so quickly... xD

Lasers are available further down the line. They are vehicle-mountable.

In the early game you will find heavy machine guns and lancer cyborgs to be the best mix available (short of dedicated AA).
