request to finish
ok as of now i am not very good at using the PIE slicer. i got the basics and some creative ideas but i gotta look through the tutorials. however with the skills i have now i can't complete this model and then turn it into a mod.i want it to be a triple medium cannon or something like that. i have no ideas about emplacements or hard points but do with it as you wish i would just like to at least see an improved version of my model.
(originally had the idea of using as big shot gun)
so anything you could do with this, even just making it textured would help thx.

What weapon do you want to replace?
Could you attach the model in a different format like 3ds or obj because i am not able to import undefined .pie files.
Best regards,

Re: request to finish
as i said i have no idea what i am doing right now. and i never said anything about wanting to replace any weapons just adding it in as a mod or something. idk what i am doing i just started screwing around in PIE slicer an that is what i came up with.
also the onl format that PIE slicer will allow me to save the model as is a .pie file i don't know what to do to allow it to save as something else so for right now all i can give you is a .pie

Well then you should learn basic modeling first in blender or 3ds or so.Firechkn34 wrote:as i said i have no idea what i am doing right now. and i never said anything about wanting to replace any weapons just adding it in as a mod or something. idk what i am doing i just started screwing around in PIE slicer an that is what i came up with.

Think of the pie file as an end product file that you use in-game.

Re: request to finish
There are a few problems with the models for starters.
The hardpoint is larger than one square, (easy fix)
The hardpoint has the turret ontop, (easy fix)
The weapon has to be split into the turret and the muzzle, (easy fix)
It all needs to be textured; unless you don't want it textured and just want to try and get it in the game.
I can have a go at fixing up the models in pie slicer if you want.
Edit: I've fixed up the hardpoint and textured it and the turret and I'me yet to split the muzzle from the turret.
I'm not sure what muzzle would be prefered though:

Re: request to finish
this is great thanks soo much, i will try to fix somethings but i know that i will not be able to fix the size of the hard point, an i think i know how to split the turret and the muzzle. as for the texture for the muzzle i really don't care. i have no idea how to correctly texture anything but i am working on learning that. as for the hard point having the turret on top, is it not supposed to have that square thing on top of it, because if not i know i can fix that. and again thanks for the help

Re: request to finish
Actually it was there on the model you provided:

And I've resized it all to fit one square and I made the pivot point squarer because the textures looked rather horrible stretched. I also killed off a lot of unused polygons and some points. All there is to do now is add connectors, complete texturing the turret and then to split the turret and muzzle apart. Feel free to take the model apart to see how it's been done when I've completed it.

But it's all so brilliant! (although some parts are a little outdated) I don't think I'd be so good at PIE slicer without Dancing Moogle!lav_coyote25 wrote:omg omg omg.. O_O some body actually pointing out tutorials... now i have to go lay down - all this excitement... xD
