OSX 10.5.8 using cheats / lots of crashes

I was on level 10 (?), I had not used cheats since mission 8, and I built a big blue gun (forgot the name) then saved my game, but as soon as the gun shot, it kills the game, so I am kind of stuck, because I have maybe 1 second before the game dies! is there any way to go into the game save files and remove that turret? also, how do you remove saved games, because I have a few skirmish matches that I am done with, but the saves are still there.

Editing the file is NOT easy at all.
You can overwrite the savegames if you want, or go to your config directory, and manually delete them. We don't offer a real delete option at this time.

Oh, and if you cheat, you can and will crash the game at some point.
