Warzone 2100 Defenses and AI

Hey guys, since warzone 2100 was release, I haven't quite stopped playing, well maybe some months I didnt play, but I still do ocasional skirmish in the PC ;)

I dont know why but this version didnt work on my pc, (retail does however) but now it does work, I have no Idea why, didnt change anything on my pc, maybe due to a new version?
But anyways, I was jus here to ask 2 things.

1- Why does the AI in the later stages of a skirmish just bunker themselves... I liked if they atacked more like early ingame. Also they should have some design and reaserach diferences from one to another, because they all research and design the same, enemy or not...

2- I would like to know if there is anyway to get the "erased" defenses (in the PSone I used the cheat mode to build them, like the Flamer tower, hardned heavy machinegun tower, flamer hardpoint, this one was from PSone version,...) I would really like to see some changes in the defenses, a defense build mod would be awesome, but its too complicated to do :P ( I guess, like the vehicle design, xept with hardpoint, emplacements,...)
And can someone explain to me why did the developers make a HPV emplacement and not a bunker? the damn thing is too weak...

Ehh, the AI is rather bad overall. You can try fixing it yourself, if you want. :S

All of this is for balance reasons. Flamers simply aren't meant to be on towers or hardpoints, and we made an HPV emplacement since a bunker would be overpowered (same reason why we got rid of the lancer bunker).

Go to the development tab and look at the modding section.

Or just use cheats.
