More Cheats for MP

to be totally honest i dont kno enough about programing. ive tried to learn but to no avail. something i for got to mention...the ai would need to be rewritten and put in a sperate location from where the normal ai is. then you could just tell the computer to check if debug mode is on....if it is use this, the harder, set of ai rules....if not the use the normal set.

Hmmm.... I see - interesting. You don't know programming by your own admission and yet you are telling the programmers HOW to implement programming.

BTW - you do NOT need to be a programmer to work with the WZ A.I..

i also said ive tried to learn. which should have made u think how much does this kid actually know. and i know i dont need to be a programer to work with the ai, but its not just the ai that needs to be redone. im not talking about a mod here. im talking about an ai that has access to cheats, but only when the player has access to them. im pretty sure that needs to be programed into the source code. if it was done as a mod, then if you activate it the ai has access to cheats and whatever, even if you dont. that is why it cant be a mod. also, if it is done this way, it might discourage beginner players from using cheats. think about it, your first time playing, you go use a few cheats, and attack the enemy's base. all the sudden u see that the enemy has hover tanks with lasers on them and all you have is a puny cannon. that right there would be very discourageing for some one to use cheats again. at least until they're ready. this game, at the moment holds little to no challenge for me anymore, even when im not using cheats. i have been playing it since at least '98, and i was like 8 at the time and i beat no problem. this is why i say to do this. if you think of another way to do then be my guest. i just want to be able to be challengeed by an old game that i love

p.s. the player would have to be told that the ai is using cheats so he knows.

Kinda funny how people want to turn this game into a arcade game, where everything is insta-spawned. Perhaps a new game mode...

Man, I should put AI questions in the FAQ.

1. The AI only cheats because it's too easy to beat without cheats.
2. You can slide the slider all the way to the left to turn off AI cheating.
3. If you think the AI's too easy, play BecomePrey, ally enemy AIs together, play against human players, etc.

im not trying to make the AI harder, but rather smarter. i would love an ai that learns to predict your stratigies. if thats not possible then make it more challenging. because as it is now, i win every game i play against the ai. and this thread has gotten completely of topic. i just wanted more cheats, and an ai that uses cheats but only when u do, and the game tells u the ai is using cheats.

Careful when you start cheating. It's nearly as addicting as tobacco. It's hard to stop once you start, because you become dependent on the cheats.

Besides, the fun eventually fades away after a while.
