WZ2100 MMO
You boys are putting lot of effort whit this game. Why don't you make it like "NavyField", im shure that good free rts whit MMO mix would attract public, and you could get payed for your hard work. There is lots of ways to earn some money like that. I have lots of ideas, so just message me on my e-mail.

Re: WZ2100 MMO
You guys have already pointed out the issue, but there's one thing I wonder - would the Warzone 2100 license allow you (meaning, anybody, not necessarily the current WZ2100 coding team) to create 'derivative' (is that the correct word?) works?
Which could mean sequels, like commercial games have, continuing and expanding the story, possibly even including spinoff games in other genres or styles (where a MMORTS would come in)? This question isn't about on if anyone would be willing or even capable of doing it - but are you allowed to expand on the universe, or are you only licensed to use the already existing story and stuff to port it to modern platforms etc.?

Of course you can. The license is GPL. Do whatever you want with it.fisk0 wrote:You guys have already pointed out the issue, but there's one thing I wonder - would the Warzone 2100 license allow you (meaning, anybody, not necessarily the current WZ2100 coding team) to create 'derivative' (is that the correct word?) works?
