Mouse Control buttons
hy, i just recovered this game here, and i realy like it.
But the mouse control is for me something curious, is it possible to change the mouse control?
i played Starcraft, TotalAnihilation, Spring and Warcraft 3 for years, so its allmost impossible for me now to handle the warzone mouse button thingy.
is it possible to change it so that i can generally select units with LMB and give orders with RMB ?
If it is possible where can i do this?

Re: Mouse Control buttons
If I'm correct, changing options>mouse options>right-click orders to on should switch the mouse conrtrols over.

Yes, that's correct.Mysteryem wrote:If I'm correct, changing options>mouse options>right-click orders to on should switch the mouse conrtrols over.
I've been trying to come up with a better name for that option, but I really don't have a good idea of what to call it.

Re: Mouse Control buttons
Hi, I'm new and this game is great but...I don't like the mouse controls because is confuse with other games.
My problem is that the mouse option don't change nothing in my case. I has Debian Amd64 (GNU/Linux), the warzone's version is 2.1.3 and my warzone's language is spanish, the option to change the mouse is called "Invertir mouse" and any value that I select does not work.
I'm grateful for the help that you can give me, thanks.
PD: excuse me my bad english :$

Re: Mouse Control buttons
You're looking for "Right-click orders", not "Reverse mouse". I agree, it should be named better, but:caralbgm wrote:the option to change the mouse is called "Invertir mouse" and any value that I select does not work.
- "Right-click orders" switches the mouse buttons
- "Reverse mouse" switches 3D rotation direction

Your Warzone is too old, that option was added in 2.2.caralbgm wrote:My problem is that the mouse option don't change nothing in my case. I has Debian Amd64 (GNU/Linux), the warzone's version is 2.1.3

Re: Mouse Control buttons
aahmm, now I undestand, thanks a lot to every body.
I did not know that the option "rigth-click orders" is in the version 2.2.x, I did not know what function had the option "reverse mouse" and did not see more options about mouse, so I assumed that this option did the function of "right-click orders". I was confused.
I use debian and its repositories, in this repositories is not the new version of warzone
.
So, for update the version I must download, compile and install from warzone's source code or wait that update the debian's repositories.
ok, thanks for the help.

Re: Mouse Control buttons
Alternatively, you could grab 2.2.1 from Debian's unstable repositories. There's no reason to use Debian stable unless you're running a server or something.caralbgm wrote:So, for update the version I must download, compile and install from warzone's source code or wait that update the debian's repositories.

Re: Mouse Control buttons
I search in the debian's repositories(stable, testing, unstable, backports) but none had the new version, these are in the 2.1.3 version. (I doesn't have a server but I like the stable version
).
thanks for the help.

Re: Mouse Control buttons
Oh, sorry, it appears 2.2.1 isn't in Debian's repositories yet. Feel free to download and install it yourself. Remember, it's a simple matter of:caralbgm wrote:I search in the debian's repositories(stable, testing, unstable, backports) but none had the new version, these are in the 2.1.3 version.
