Hi, when I run game, the map do not display. I can see only bar, which represents probably a machine. Everything else is black. No machines, buildings, terrain - nothing.

Yet another driver problem.

What hardware you got?
Which video card and which drivers?

hardware: laptop dell latitude d830
video card - I have no idea. In linux its difficult to find this :/ Probably the standard card for dell laptops
drivers: i haven't installed special drivers, so probably the are default drivers.

ps: with other games I have no problems

I wouldn't say that...

I told you what the problem is. It is the crappy intel drivers.
We can't fix their bugs, we got enough bugs to worry about of our own...

I am getting the same error...

I am using Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope.

My video card: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960

Processor: Intel Core2 duo T5750 @ 2.00 Hrtz

Laptop Lenovo, 1 gb of ram

So.... there's no solution for this problem??

The latest version of Mesa is supposed to fix some Intel bugs. So we can add a new verse to the old song:

- Turn off compiz
- update video driver
- turn down hardware acceleration
- update to latest Mesa
