enable cheats

i need help enableing cheats, from what i understand you need patch 1.01b, go to command line and put exactly "--cheat" in.
i have verson 2.2 and when i am in campaign mode i hit left shift and backspace at the same time, it dosnt say or do anything.
can somone please give me acomplete run down on how to enable them.. in english please im really dumb with computers andall i want ot do is play the game.

You don't need patch 1.01b. Patches were only used for the 1.x series of Warzone.

when i change it i put it to:

No, you didn't. You put it to

'C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe--cheat'

I can tell from your screenshot. Stop lying. You're supposed to put it to

"C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe" --cheat

when i change it i put it to:
"C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe"--cheat

There has to be a space between ...exe" and --cheat. Else Windows thinks your program's called warzone2100.exe--cheat - which it isn't, it's warzone2100.exe with the option --cheat.
