A flaw in the NTW mod AI

Post by Arreon »

Once the AI researches the super twin cannon and the hellstorm, that's all it ever builds. It's annoying because the cannons have a longer range and do more damage than most of the other weapons.

There needs to be a reduction in the cannon's range because it's highly annoying when the enemy builds 150 of them. :scream: Also it would be nice if the AI didn't build as many hellstorms because I find them all over the map.

Many of us would appreciate it if the AI would build a variety of defenses (like the twin pulse laser bunker, or scourge missile tower), rather than 150 hellstorms and overpowered cannon bunkers.

And here, my friends, is why I say NTW is unbalanced.

Come to vanilla 2.2. I've worked on its balance for months, and I'm rather proud.

(Note, I'm not saying NTW is badly balanced - but it's had massive balance-affecting changes, and its balance hasn't had time to mature yet.)

Where is it? I can't find it.

I tried typing "vanilla 2.2" in the search box. All I got was useless information.

"Vanilla" in this case means "normal", "plain", "no mods".
