The build in question was a link made public here in the BBs so I'm sure more folks
than Lav downloaded it.

The "Bazaar" thing to do would be replace it in the same manner. Otherwise it
smacks of pure "Cathedral", which while I'm not against, is inconsistent with WRP
policy as it is professed - to my understanding, that is, which could very well
not be as nuanced in the practiced as it is in utterance.. O_o

There are many upsides to the "Bazaar" over the "Cathedral" and one not
much spoken to is that by it's very structure it attempts to subvert cronyism or
neo-nepotism which can often manifest as corrosive elements in the
"Cathedral" way of going about things. This also applies in public communities not
tasked to any specific project doings but just hanging - sharing info, experience
or related independent efforts. O_O

No offense is intended by any of these comments or observations. Just about any
happening can trigger a consequential line of thought in me (could be my Cartesian
streak). I appreciate both PoVs & each has it's Pros & Cons. Guess you could call me
a centrist on the subject. ;)

In the end both are actually subject to the dynamics of a global free market as
far as I can tell. Or as a populist expression of the First Law of Thermodynamics
has it: "No such thing as free lunch." Or, another way of looking at it from General
Semantics; "The map is not the territory mapped."

dunno what all you did - but it "appears" to have worked... one other thing - i forgot to mention that the power bar just before the crash - was way out of wack - and seeing as i had only 8 wells and ..well just say that it shoouldnt have been that much...

i am going to try and do a bit of a show using screenshots... hopefully it will turn out. :D

Your reading too much into it. I can't upload to GNA, and I can't upload to Zarel's site, and unsure how to handle this on sf.
Having builds floating around in forum posts (as in attach it to them) isn't a good idea either. (dunno if you noticed, but I removed the other one I did as well).

I need to talk to Zarel, and see if he can give me access so I can put up builds there--but, they are NOT full builds, trunk is just too big. I would only put up the main warzone2100.exe.

Hope that clears things up.
and it ends here.

That's cool. Glad you explained. I understand. Makes perfect sense. As I could read into it before so could others but now it's not subject
to interpretation. A good consequence methinks. :)

Appreciate your efforts all around, make no mistake about that.

Regards, whipper. :)

Well, I found Zarel, and he let me have access (Thanks Zarel!), so I put the build up on his site.

Remember people, I am only uploading the .exe. You need to get Zarel's bigger version first, then replace the .exe.
and it ends here.
