Certain Issues with Mac OS X version of new 2.2 Beta 2
Right now I got two problems,
1. I dont know how I get the Videos working, I put the sequences.wz Data into the Wz2100 folder but I still don’t have the Videos.
2. I downloaded some new Skirmish Maps and put them into the Map folder in the Wz2100 folder but they don’t appear in game
thanks for help

Can you run warzone with the command line switches of --debug all --debug-file whatever.txt and attached that?Timmay wrote:Right now I got two problems,

AFAIK, the FMVs worked fine the last time I checked on a mac. I assume that the wz2100 folder also has the other .wz files in it as well?
and it ends here.

well
as long as you just put them into the WZ Folder you get the Subtitles for the Videos, but of course no videos and sound
Any suggestions?
Sorry, Game stopped doing that, now I got nothing at all, If I press view intro I immediately return to the Menu
I don’t know what you mean with the Command line? Shall I use the Console in game?
Yes, everything is saved in Users/Hex/Library/Application Support/Warzone 2100
right now in there is just the warzone app and the sequenzes.wz file, nothing else , no other foldes , nothing

Have you tried putting it inside the app?Timmay wrote:

i.e. /Applications/Warzone.app/Contents/MacOS/ etc?

Try Contents/Resources/ ? Maybe Contents/Resources/data/ ? I told you, the hard part was figuring out which folder to put it in.
Buginator uses Windows and puts them in Program Files/Warzone 2100/, so I doubt that's going to help you very much.

While I may be using windows, I put them in /dataZarel wrote:Buginator uses Windows and puts them in Program Files/Warzone 2100/, so I doubt that's going to help you very much.
Do a global search on your HD, and look for warzone.wz Then copy sequences.wz to that location. Done.Timmay wrote:I try it right now but there are a lot of folders to try....

Psst, warzone.wz/base.wz don't exist on the Mac - the data files aren't packaged.Buginator wrote:Do a global search on your HD, and look for warzone.wz Then copy sequences.wz to that location. Done.

In that case... erm.. um... ignore what I said, and wait for someone who knows how Apple lays down the law.

As I said, my money's on either Contents/Resources/ or Contents/Resources/data/ - I'd check, but it's really not worth booting up my MacBook to figure out which one. I mean, really, "two" isn't that many directories to check.Buginator wrote:

Best I can say is run the game with --debug all --debugfile whatever.txt, and it will show you all the directories it is reading from.Timmay wrote:Checked both, Videos still do not work
