i seem to have misplaced...

the icon for destructing structures... in a nice long game with no crashes or other strange behaviour... i went to make a hole in the wall to let some units out and lo and behold no wrecking ball crane icon. :stressed: is this a new feature?? i dont remember reading any thing about this being done away with after so many structures built... or is this a new bug??? O_o :stare:


if its a new feature - i dont like it. :3 xD

It's a new bug. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with research, but I'm not sure what.

Can you see if

1. Researching the same thing will make "Demolish Structure" disappear?
2. If so, researching what causes it?

I've narrowed it down to "Probably something in T3"

oh neat!! a new bug...just what i always wanted.... xD

as i was starting on T1 and just researching things the way i do... in a non linear way... i wouldnt be able to say what it was... all i know is it was over 2 hours into the game - when i went to open up a hole in the hardpoints leading to the north - and discovered the missing icon... i thought at first i was going / gone insane or needed a new pair of glasses... but nope - it was gone. will watch and write down what and when ... geez. xD

Aren't bugs fun?
Just wait until you run into Zarel's 'fixed' repair station that doesn't repair anymore, even though it looks like it is repairing... It is all part of his master plan. ;)

u can always issue attack orders to get read of somthing hold like alt or ctrl think its alt though with units selected and target building u want to get read of figure its a way to let u get on with ur game if u havent and will hold off the dilemma some

I've figured it out!

It's a bug in Rebalance 0.4.2. It's fixed for Rebalance 0.5.0, which is coming out soon enough that I'm not going to bother backporting it.

Until then, um... you'll be fine as long as you don't research Archangel Missile Battery. ;)

nope / not / nein / nix / nyet / ( and every other word that means no). already tried that - it seems that you can not destroy your own structures using that particular trick - i know - i have used it in the past - and i tried using it this time - to no avail. i had heavy cannon and lancers trying to take out that same hardpoint as indicated in the pic. truly a funny site - seeing rounds go through and explode well past the point where the damage should have been maybe 1 or 2 volleys to destruction... :stare: xD xD xD :3

I think that was changed because of the old "trick" to ranking-up experience boons for units by having them friendly fire destroy tank-traps..

Flaw of the current projectile system? You should really report this kind of stuff.

yeah i was going to say i dont think that was sapost to be that way since i could still do it an to solve the exp part u just set all there exp to 0 not turn off friendly fire lol thats funny

Edit: srry didnt mean to sound rude if i did i just thought it was funny u found 2 bugs and didnt realize it
