Match maker

If anybodo know the game ''Populous The beginning'' they also have a team working on the game. Its also from 98 or 99. The team
has created a match-maker. A host starts to host a game in a ''hut''.. 3 others can join the ''hut'' and then the host starts the game. (warzone opens, and goes directly into the game)


I think a method like this would make it easier for those who play Online.
Just an idea..

i still have my orginal copy of that game .(but not like that is relevent to warzone... )

This would be a good idea (minus the fact that the Lobby system can pretty much suffice - never seen more than 3 games being played at once in my life).

If it would work, it could search currently hosted games, and check the amount of games won by the player, and putting them in if the win count is close enough.

well, my idea was that, you can search for an online game without entering Warzone.. Like if you only like to play online(you have played the campaign 100000000000 times and won over the A.I. in skirmish 2000000000 times ) and have a 4 year old laptop crap, it takes 5 min to check if there is a game.. + what version it is...

Its anoying. I have experienced many times that i find a game for 2.2 beta 1, while im in 2.1.3....
I close 2.1.3. , enter 2.2 beta 1, but its too late. They have startet the game
