This one I had after demolishing a hardcrete wall in a MP game:

Common crash after leaving the game:

Some crashes I've had. One significant crash I had was on the 2nd Campaign level, Mission 6 (Take a unit and go to the enemies nuclear reactor and destroy it don’t let the collective activate it) where I crashed 5 times with a display.c file error.

Also a crash when I went to continue game to go to Campaign 3.

And this is windows XP. Don't let the 7 theme fool ya.

By the way, I hope you realize that you can click "Ignore" and continue playing, right? Those aren't crashes, they're just error messages.

I'm sure the game would f**k up then since a line in the code has a fault :|

No, it won't. Trust me, I'm a developer. ASSERTs are meant to tell the developer that something's wrong, but not wrong enough to do anything bad for the game. ASSERTs happen all the time in 2.1.3, too, you just don't see them since they're hidden in release builds.

There's something missing on this game, I can't see the foe's unit or structure HP bar everytime I point my mouse cursor on it

I could see the enemy unit's HP bar only if it's not moving fast when holding mouse2 on it... kinda tricky O_o

There's something wrong with the BGM... when playing a campaign, sometimes, some of the BGM were stacking when it tries to switch

Not helpful. What crashes? How did you acquire the version? What type of build is it? Have you tried running it with the debug flag? How about under gdb?

We don't support versions that old. Grab 2.1.3 from Jaunty, or build it from source. Even better, build 2.2 RC1 from source (it will be released later today or tomorrow).

Yeah, 2.1 beta 4 is the version in 8.10. It's the only beta that's incompatible with all the other versions of 2.1 (an oversimplification of what happened: We put the 2.2 savefile format in 2.1 beta 4, but it caused too many problems, so we reverted it for subsequent releases). You can load the save file with 2.2, though. Why not download and compile 2.2?

A question:

Using latest Fedora, all required installed, used source to install 2.1.3 version. Need to un-install [to install the 2.2 version also from source] but no *rule* for make uninstall. Made the install the day *before* 2.2 released [dummy me]...

Do I need to manually un-install all the files created? If so does someone have a list available? [Yeah, I know, I should have used checkinstall ...] OR has anyone created an uninstall rule for 2.1.3 ?

Is there another reasonable way to uninstall?

Also,, warzone 2.1.3 did not show the start up entries on the entry screen [no exit, etc..] is there something I need to change prior to installing 2.2? NOTE: I previously ran Ubuntu and its version with no problems on the exact same hardware [nVidia FX5500 and same motherboard, etc.].

Thanks..
