Happy New Year and Welcome to our updated Website

That's it! The end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. We just crossed that line and entered 2009.

Lots of things have happened in the past year. To name a few highlights:

• The original videos, music and all other original data have been explicitly released open source under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 2.0.
• Great improvements have been, and still are, being made in the graphics department (see New Terrain)
• Multi player support in Warzone has been largely fixed.
• We finally started a new stable release: 2.1.x, starting with 2.1.0!
• The website has been updated/renewed, ..., twice!

Yes, as you might have noticed already, the website has been updated again. After several weeks of work and "crunching" for the last few days the current website is the result. Several note worthy changes:

• MediaWiki has been replaced as our Wiki software, instead we now use TracWiki
• Additionally, since TracWiki is part of Trac the wiki is now located at http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki instead of http://wiki.wz2100.net/. The old location now redirects to the new, so URLs should still be valid.
• Several new BB tags have been added, , [rev] and [ticket], which create links to the given wiki page, source revision and issue tracking ticket respectively.

Then to come to the conclusion of my story. The Warzone Resurrection Project wants to thank you all for a very active, enjoyable and productive 2008, and we eagerly look forward to 2009.
