multiplayer problems

i cant seem to get warzone 2100 any version including 2.1 to be able to find each others game's on my network, tried on each system as host. I looked at the ip and it seems that they all use the same ip address can that cause problems with not finding a local game. I can still join and play other peoples games and we even can both join a game if someone else host.

What OS are you using? sounds to me like you have ports blocked ( Firewall settings ) on both computers that you can't host with if you can both join another game.

try using hamachi - it seems to bore right through any firewalls. and it connects usually with no problems.

we tried it with windows xp home-xp pro vista-premium i havent tried playing windows against ubuntu yet
