2.1rc2 - Cheat/hack Found

While playing a 2v2 humans vs ai, i asked my (partner) for some power. When he sent me power, it was something crazy like 99999999999.


I didnt manage to catch him before the game was up to ask him what/how he was using. I will report back when i have more information.

he was probably using debug mode and a cheat called "superpower" to give himself maximum power allowed and then transfered power to you in the largest amount the variable could handle/limited to.

either that or it's a major glitch in the MP code somewhere.

There should have been a global message that he entered cheat mode.

I Found the link and program he was using, which i will not disclose.

There is no such program, to my knowledge. Nor should there need to be. So feel free to disclose it.

If someone wants to cheat all they need to do is remove a couple of lines of multiplayer code that send the "PLAYER XXX HAS ENTERED DEBUG MODE" and they could get away with it.
